Circular- Use of MSPO Trace as Mandatory Traceability System

This Circular is intended to enforce the use of MSPO Trace by Accredited Certification Bodies and Non-Accredited Certification bodies.

All data/information to be updated into MSPO Trace within seven (7) working days upon finalization of the audit report(s) and/or certificate(s).

MPOCC has decided to mandate the use of MSPO Trace effective from 1st October 2021. Therefore, for all the pending updates before 1st October 2021, a grace period of 3 months is given to facilitate the updating process, and it is the responsibility of the certification bodies to ensure all pending data/information are updated into MSPO Trace by 31st December 2021.

However, from the effective date, all current/ongoing audit report(s) and/or certificate(s) issuance must be uploaded within the said seven (7) working days. Any delays that exceed the seven (7) working days as above, will lead to certificates not being recognized and therefore the certified entity will no longer appear in MSPO Trace.

MPOCC will lodge an official complaint to Standards Malaysia on the exceeded timeframe by Certification Bodies and will be subject to stern action from MPOCC.

If you have any questions about the MSPO Trace and this circular, please send your inquiries to nasiha@mpocc.org.my
