MPOCC MTCC VIDEO COMPETITION 2022 IS ON!
What does sustainability mean to you? Express your view via a short video and win awesome prizes!
The inaugural MPOCC MTCC Video Competition 2022 kicks off today (13 June 2022), calling for Malaysia’s future agents of change to share their perspectives on sustainability through creative, impactful videos and be in the running to win attractive prizes worth RM10,000.
The competition, themed “Sustainability is Shared Responsibilities”, is a first-time collaboration between the Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council (MPOCC) and the Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC).
Apart from generally showing Malaysia’s support towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, the competition is aimed at inculcating the importance of having a shared responsibility when it comes to going sustainable in everyday living. Its objective also includes spreading awareness of certification efforts done by the Malaysian government through MPOCC and MTCC among university students.
The competition is open to all Malaysian students studying at Malaysian universities. Each eligible participant is required to post the video (with a duration of 1-3 minutes) on his/her Facebook or/and Instagram account(s) with the title “Sustainability is Shared Responsibilities”, and with the following hashtags: #MPOCCMTCCVC2022.
