MSPO would like to inform all Upstream Traceability Users of the introduction of the e-MSP0 and SIMS Integration Data Sharing Consent feature.

Industry stakeholders have raised concerns regarding the need to submit similar information for both MSPO certification requirements and regulatory reporting to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) through the SIMS system. To address this, MSPO has implemented a data sharing consent mechanism that allows relevant data to be retrieved directly from MPOB through system integration with SIMS.

Through this integration, MSPO will be able to access relevant information already submitted to MPOB, subject to user acknowledgement and consent. This initiative is designed to improve efficiency within the certification process while reducing the administrative burden on industry participants.

With the implementation of this feature:

• Users will no longer need to re-enter or resubmit data that has already been submitted to MPOB
• Certification verification processes can be carried out more efficiently
• Administrative duplication will be reduced while maintaining compliance with MSPO certification requirements

The e-MSPO and SIMS Integration Data Sharing Consent feature will be activated on 9 March 2026.

Users are required to complete the necessary acknowledgement upon their first login to the e-MSPO system after the implementation date.
