Effective 30 June 2025, the following modules go live in e-MSPO: Certification Module (NC Tagging) for ACBs, Traceability Module (Supply Chain) for MSPO Logo Claim, SPOC Module for MPOB officers, MSPO Logo Module, and Complaints & Grievance Module. These upgrades aim to improve efficiency, transparency, and user experience in MSPO certification management.

MSPO officially publishes the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Procedure, binding all endorsed external assessors effective immediately, with report submission via email within 90 days of site visit. Internal assessors have a transition period until 31 Dec 2025. Non-compliance may result in suspension or revocation of endorsement.

Following extensive consultation with key stakeholders, the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) is issuing an additional guideline on resumption of new MSPO certification applications and the provision of temporary exemptions for selected MSPO requirements

The e-MSPO Helpdesk is now live at https://helpdesk.mspots.org.my:8443/helpdesk/ as a centralized platform for reporting system issues, submitting inquiries on e-MSPO functionalities, requesting technical assistance, and tracking submission status. Users must submit a ticket with relevant details and attachments; a tracking ID will be provided via email.

Circular - Clarification on the MSPO Certification Scheme document 2023 requirements. During this transitional phase, MSPO will proactively address stakeholder inquiries and concerns pertaining to the MSPO certification scheme requirements through the issuance of regular ad-hoc circulars.

MSPO Trace Update: CBs must update entity details by 1 Oct 2024, mills must declare monthly CPO/PK volumes, SCCS 2018 ends 31 Dec 2024, “Delayed” status replaced with suspension for non-compliance, and organized smallholder data must be collected by 1 Oct 2025.

To improve transparency in MSPO Trace and address stakeholder requests for district-specific data, MPOCC has enhanced the mandatory data entry by making it necessary to input districts in the MSPO Trace system.

Commencing January 17, 2024, there is an option for all MPSO certified millers and processing facilities to issue sales announcements.
