Ref No: EMU92025
Dear Valued Stakeholders,
Following our second announcement on 30 June 2025, we are pleased to share the third progress update on the implementation of key modules under the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification system.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the MSPO framework, we are pleased to announce that the following modules are going live:
1. Traceability Module enhancement for FFB Dealers and Palm Oil Mill on 15 December 2025.
2. GHG Module for Part 3-1, 3-2, 4-1, 4-2 on 29 August 2025 (Mandatory: 1 January 2026)
Please be informed that the e-MSPO system will undergo scheduled maintenance on 12 December 2025, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., in conjunction with the enhancement of the Traceability Module. During this period, all Declaration functions will be temporarily disabled, and users are advised not to perform any declarations to avoid disruption to the upgrade process. Please record your transactions internally on a temporary basis and update them in the system after the go-live.
Additionally, we would like to formally introduce the new and updated definitions related to the Traceability Module enhancement, as outlined below:
New Terms for FFB Dealers ONLY
FFB Declaration – A monthly report by all FFB Dealers for the cumulative total of FFB volume received. The data shall be reported before the 5th of the following month in the e-MSPO system.
FFB Announcement – Sales of certified and non-certified FFB announced to the buyer. The data shall be reported before the 5th of the following month in the e-MSPO system.
Updated Terms for Palm Oil Mill ONLY
| CPO/PK Declaration | |
| Previous Term | New Term |
| All mills shall report the cumulative total of MSPO certified CPO and PK production volume every month. The data shall be reported before the 10th of the following month. | A monthly CPO/PK declaration by all mills for the certified and non-certified CPO and PK production volume. The data shall be reported before the 10th of the following month in the e-MSPO system. |
MSPO has mandated all millers to declare both certified and non-certified CPO and PK production volumes as part of the supply chain process. Please be informed that the CPO/PK Declaration function has been separated from the Monthly Declaration and is now accessible under the Product Conversion menu.
To prevent duplicate declarations by mills and dealers in relation to the Traceability Module requirements, MSPO has granted an exemption for traceability declarations for all certified dealers from the mandatory implementation date until 31 December 2025.
