We are pleased to share that the MSPO Certification Scheme has been recognised as a MyHIJAU Verification Partner under the Scheme Owner category for MS 2751:2022 – MSPO Chain of Custody of Oil Palm Biomass, following the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC)’s independent technical assessment.

This recognition enables organisations certified under MS 2751:2022 to apply for the MyHIJAU Mark for eligible oil palm biomass products, subject to MGTC’s requirements and approval process.

Upon successful recognition, products may be listed in the MyHIJAU Directory, enhancing market visibility, buyer confidence and domestic market recognition. The MyHIJAU Directory also serves as a national reference for Government Green Procurement (GGP), Green Private Purchasing (GPP) and selected green incentive programmes, including the Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) and Green Income Tax Exemption (GITE), where applicable. As Malaysia advances its green economy, circular economy and bio-based industry agenda, credible certification systems such as MSPO play an increasingly important role in connecting sustainable production with market opportunities.

MSPO remains committed to strengthening trust, traceability and sustainability across the palm oil value chain while creating greater value for industry through credible certification and strategic collaboration.

This recognition is another step towards ensuring that sustainability is not merely a compliance requirement, but a driver of market recognition, commercial value and long-term competitiveness for Malaysia’s sustainable oil palm biomass industry.
