The Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) has published the Integrity Assessment Guidelines and Integrity Assessment Procedures as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the integrity, consistency and credibility of certification activities conducted under the MSPO Certification Scheme.

The documents establish the overarching framework, methodology and processes for integrity assessments conducted under the MSPO Certification Scheme, supporting a more structured, transparent and risk-based approach towards certification oversight.

The Integrity Assessment Guidelines outline the principles, objectives, scope and general requirements governing integrity assessments, including key considerations relating to impartiality, transparency, confidentiality and governance.

Meanwhile, the Integrity Assessment Procedures set out the detailed processes for conducting integrity assessments, including assessment planning, execution, stakeholder consultation, classification of findings, corrective action management and decision-making processes.

Together, these documents provide clear direction to Accredited Certification Bodies and relevant stakeholders in supporting effective oversight and continual improvement across certification activities under the MSPO Certification Scheme.
