CALLING FOR DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMMITTEE (DRC)

We are pleased to announce a call for application to join MPOCC Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) with the aim to strengthen sectoral representation on the Committee.

Committee members will be selected in objective to ensuring the independence and impartiality of the members with sufficiently diverse and wide spectrum of backgrounds and experience towards ensuring a constructive resolution of dispute.

Members of the DRC shall be capable and can be depended upon to deal with any dispute submitted to the DRC in a fair and balance manner.

Members of the DRC shall not serve as MSPO peer reviewers, consultants, or auditors during their tenure with the DRC, to avoid any conflict of interest.

The specific conduct of the DRC members shall be on the following basis:

1. Members of DRC will be appointed for a two-year term;

2. Members shall observe the Term of Reference (TOR) when participating in proceedings for the resolution of any dispute; and

3. Possess good command of English language to allow active participation in meetings.

The DRC will have its meetings as and when necessary and supported by MPOCC as Secretariat for the conduct of the meetings.

The DRC members may be involved in preparatory work ahead of meetings, to examine and provide comments on the documents under discussion, and to deliberate upon and deliver decisions as mandated under the Dispute Resolution Procedure (2017).

2. Motivational letter / Statement of intent (1 page) with two (2) references
